Justin Dowley

Justin Dowley has extensive experience with over 35 years spent within the banking, investment and asset management sectors.

He qualified as a chartered accountant at Price Waterhouse, and was a director of Morgan Grenfell and Head of Investment Banking at Merrill Lynch Europe. He was also a founder partner of Tricorn Partners and served as Chairman of Melrose until March 2025. He was Chairman of Scottish Mortgage Investment Trust plc until July 2025, and is a Deputy Chairman of The Panel on Takeovers and Mergers.
