Protecting the environment through strong governance

A commitment to respecting and protecting the environment is one of Rosebank’s four overarching sustainability principles. As we continue to grow, starting with the acquisition of ECI, we have established strong environmental governance supported by our Group Environmental Policy. This sets out how we support our Business Units in achieving both their commercial and environmental goals, and how we work with them to identify and implement effective solutions to protect the environment.

We also set clear expectations across our supply chain. Through our Supply Chain Code of Conduct, we require all suppliers to comply with relevant laws and regulations and to operate in line with our environmental commitments. Where our Business Units source products or raw materials containing 3TG minerals, we ensure that robust procedures are in place so that these materials are sourced responsibly and from conflict-free regions.

We are focused on continuous improvement across the Group, standardising data collection, setting targets, monitoring performance and aligning with our future corporate strategy. Within our decentralised model, our businesses take responsibility for identifying, monitoring and managing the environmental risks in their operating and market environments.
